Everyone contributes to water pollution such as factories dumping waste or chemicals, plastic bottles 
being tossed into water and so much more. Water pollution is harming the Earth just as we are harming the water. But there are ways to lessen it. We just have to take time to find those ways and apply them. Groups can be created to help. These groups could meet once or twice a week. They would go to rivers and lakes and help clean them up. However, In order for those groups to be made, we need to be able to know about the problem.

The problem is that we as people take water for granted. You may think that throwing one little plastic bottle into a lake isn't going to do any damage. Well, think again. One little thing can have a huge impact. You may not believe it, but it's true. Just like one word can change a person forever, one bottle can change a lake. The way that people treat water now will impact future generations. Take some time to learn about water pollution and why it's becoming a problem.
